My imperfect, even at times bumbling prayer just might be preferable to a curated selection of memorized classic prayers. Even if I meander or hesitate, stumble or stutter, my words from the heart are more valuable than meticulously planned, rehearsed, or recited prayer, because the words are my own.

I have SO much Catholic Clipart to make this Liturgical Living Book my own and I think it will be an incredible Family Heirloom that I’d like to replicate for each child as they start their own families.

Over the years, we have collected and created Catholic Crafts to help pray the Stations of the Cross with kids. With this Covid pandemic continuing on, a second Lent, Holy Week and Triduum at home is definitely a possibility. This is our monthly summary of crafts and family traditions related to the Monthly Devotion, Key Feast Days and the appropriate Season of the Liturgical Calendar. As our kids get older, our activities and commitment to Catholic crafts has changed and adjusted (at least for our tween, teen, and young adult kids)! While we haven’t exactly been adding a lot of Catholic crafts around here, we do enjoy pulling out the crafts and programs we’ve developed over the years, sometimes sharing them with younger families in our parish!
