A Look Inside Prompt Me to Pray

As many of you already know, I am just two short weeks away from receiving my new book about personal prayer and pursuing a personal relationship with Jesus! While I have created a number of prayer-based craft kits to facilitate fruitful prayer journaling and Sacrament Prep and to bolster family prayer, this book offers some practical tips and insight to make personal prayer a strong priority and consistent habit.

Feast Day Fun: February

Equipping Catholic Families for February Saints Days!

This is our monthly summary of crafts and family traditions related to the Monthly Devotion, Key Feast Days and the appropriate Season of the Liturgical Calendar. As our kids get older, our activities and commitment to Catholic crafts has changed and adjusted (at least for our tween, teen and young adult kids)! While we haven’t exactly been adding a lot of Catholic crafts around here, we do enjoy pulling out the crafts and programs we’ve developed over the years, sometimes sharing them with younger families in our parish!

A Prayer Dispositions Workshop

So we’ve got a wonderful Women’s Ministry at our Parish. We only meet once a month from September to May and each meeting has a special theme. We have an Advent Wreath-making night, a Soup and Small Talk night, a Catholic Trivia night and a Praise and Worship night and a number of meetings with specially chosen guest speakers…and we pretty much always have snacks and wine. It’s a wonderful group of ladies and it has been a privilege to grow in our friendship and spiritual lives together, talking about Faith and prayer and supporting one another, well beyond the once-a-month meeting.

I have only included Instagram post screenshots that I absolutely LOVE and I hope that you will consider posting your Instagram handle in the comments, so that others will follow you as well. Be assured that I would never use anyone else’s original artwork in any products to be sold.

Equipping Catholic Families …to Pray

Equipping Catholic Families is very much a family apostolate and as our five kids one by one step into the teenage and young adult years, our family ministry seems to be maturing as well.
