Review: My First Book of Saints

My First Book of Saints is a great little hardcover book profiling 62 saints in an easy-to-read format.

The full page illustrations are nice and colorful and the extra little text box on each biography summarizes where and when the saint lived and the Feast Day we have to celebrate the saint’s life, and is highlighted for easy reference.

Broken Statues and St Padre Pio

We are big fans of St Padre Pio. It started when my daughter Kelly picked up the little monk statue at a bookstore.  She started reading books about him and he became one of our favorite family patron Saints.   We even made a St Padre Pio Wooden Painted Saint.

Sacred Seasons Liturgical Calendar

I’m excited about this product because I really like Illuminated Ink’s coloring pages and the idea of an organization folder for the Liturgical Calendar.

Illuminated Ink’s Sacred Seasons Liturgical Calendar comes with blank calendar templates for each season along with Illuminated Ink‘s classic (but new, improved and expanded!)  saint symbol stickers, informative Season explanations and awesome coloring pages.

An Alphabet of Mary: Book Review

I have been a fan of Catholic Artworks for a while…after having met Brenda and George (and family!) at a few Catholic conferences.  I have been blown away by the extensive, growing collection of awesome artwork that they have created! I have made crafts like the Stations of the Cross Carousel and Stepping Stones through Jesus’ Life, completely enhanced by these nicely drawn, colorful and likeable artwork of Jesus, Mary and the Saints, available as Catholic digital clipart for projects, activities and teaching aids.  I know that they have a full range of posters and banners and so many wonderful Catholic materials to delve into Church teaching including vessels, vestments, traditions and the Papacy!

Tiny Saints!

I have already written my reviews of some of the awesome Catholic products I found at the National Catholic Education Association conference a few weeks ago, including the Catholic Children’s Bible and Brother Francis’ My Heavenly Friends prayer card collection, but I only briefly mentioned Tiny Saints as a cool Sacrament gift.
