Lent: Saints & Virtue: HOLY WEEK
April 5-11
Quick Bio: St. Rita knew from an early age that she wanted to be a nun, but out of obedience to her parents, she accepted an arranged marriage at the age of 12.
St. Rita’s husband was unfaithful, abusive and domineering. During their 18 years of marriage, St. Rita prayed fervently for her husband and he experienced a conversion. Due to the rivalry between some aristocratic families, St. Rita’s husband was murdered, his mutilated body dumped on the family’s doorstep. Their enraged teenaged sons vowed a vendetta.

15 Lenten Printables
While I enjoy creating Catholic Printables, I’m always excited to see what others are creating to foster prayer and devotion and faith formation in the home. This year’s Catholic Mom Bundle for Lent is an awesome collection of Catholic Resources and I’m going to feature just over half of them in this post. There are even more resources available in the Bundle, but I’m focusing on the ones that grabbed my attention, particularly as printables for Lent. I’ve grouped them into Activity Packs, Journals/Programs and Prayer.

These are SO CUTE and fun to make!!
I decided to start my Egg Carton Communion of Saints with Mother Mary. Michele has an Egg Carton Nativity set that is awesome and I only strayed a little to make my Mother Mary. I needed to add her signature blue veil and a shiny halo.
