It’s got 12 pages of color AND black and white templates presenting TWO classic Act of Contrition prayers, a few different formats of the Examination of Conscience (based on the Ten Commandments), quick information about the Sacrament and the general format of Reconciliation with the official text for both First and subsequent Confession. A number of different formats are included to accommodate one or two kids…or a whole class!

Painted Saints Church in a Wooden Box (Part II)

Recently, I used the Cathedral Clipart Craft Kit to convert this wooden lunchbox from Michaels…into a Church for our little Painted Saints!

We have all heard the Nativity story, seen reenactments of Jesus’ Birth in school plays, Church pageants and even on the big screen. Santa Claus is pretty prevalent too, and we’re looking for ways to overpower the looming inflatable Santa Claus and Frosty that have adorned the house next door since mid-November.

The Pinterest Prayer Book

Isn’t Pinterest fun? My only challenge about pinterest…is how to really use it to create things to help my family!  It’s so easy to pin pretty pictures, but sometimes they just gather on my pinboards and I don’t actually try the craft or recipe.  I have been delighted to discover awesome artists who I would not have found without pinterest, but I don’t always remember to visit my ‘artwork’ pinboard to admire all of the work.  Together with prayers I have managed to find and pin, I have created a new Prayer Book Pinboard, but this time…I have an action plan!  This collection will be used to build something!
