How easy is it to forget the moments of Grace we’ve received in the past when the present flurry of activity and concerns are pressing in. The truth is that I have recorded these moments of grace, these soft and reassuring, concise and emboldening messages gently placed in my heart. They’re all carefully transcribed in various prayer journals. Each prayer journal was diligently filled over time

Track Changer: Game Changer for Prayer
Does praying “Jesus, I trust in You” seem empty and ineffective? The Track Changer can help us pray more deliberately, consistently and effectively!
Recently, when I was facing a little extra stress and anxiety, I learned something integral to effective prayer! While I’ve been taught that the effectiveness of our prayer does not rely on or become apparent through our feelings, there is something we can do to make our prayer more deliberate and consoling. I’m going to call it the track changer.

Feast Day Fun: St Monica, Patron Saint of Moms!
{August27} Feast Day Fun: St Monica!
St Monica is remembered as having a stressful life, between her ill-tempered husband and rebellious son! Through persistent prayer, sacrifice, patience and gentleness, St Monica’s husband converted before he died. Her rebellious son Augustine was also converted and became a bishop and saint and is recognized as a Doctor of the Church. With patience, gentleness and persistence, St Monica reminds us to pray for others, even when they are difficult to get along with …and resistant to changing their ways! She offers us hope in our prayer for those who stray from Jesus.
#HPparty : Our 11year-old’s Hogwarts Orientation Party plus FREE Printable
Here at Equipping Catholic Families, we usually post about Catholic crafts, activities and traditions to help celebrate the Catholic Faith at home. As a family, we also happen to be avid Harry Potter fans….and epic backyard birthday party planners. This post shows how we combined the two (and made a 36-page FREE printable in the process). I know that some of my subscribers may not be big Harry Potter fans and I’m just hoping that you’ll consider reading this really great article by Kendra at Catholic All Year before you post an angry or concerned comment about the dangers of Harry Potter.
