Pope John Paul II was our Holy Father from 1978-2005. He wrote many important Catholic documents, traveled extensively throughout the world, welcomed millions of pilgrims and worked to reconcile denominations and restore democracy and religious freedom in communist countries.
I returned from my Pilgrimage to Rome TWO weeks ago TODAY…and I’m still walking through beautiful Churches and Basilicas in my dreams, each night!

With the Feast of All Saints coming up…I thought I’d offer a sitemap of Saints activities and craft kits, along with All Saints resources I have collected online.
This a quick tour of our 11 days in Rome, Florence, Assisi and Naples, centering around the daily homilies of Fr Scott McCaig.

I like to follow. Heading off for a pilgrimage with 27 people was a little daunting. I was wondering how that was going to work, touring busy Churches and sacred sites! I learned that I really like to follow the leader with the umbrella, totally free from testing my faulty navigational skills. I like having the saint relics, tombs and significant artwork pointed out to me…because I don’t want to miss a thing.
The biggest influence on my Faith and prayer life has been a special priest I have known for almost 22 years. In these years of friendship, homilies and spiritual direction, I’ve picked up a pretty prominent theme from his teaching and from his example.

Saint Faustina was The Spiritual Bouquet of Prayer Petal Flowers includes all the prayers for both the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet, printed on flower parts. One flower is made with each decade of prayers and clipart and a coloring page is included for both the Rosary and the Chaplet for further activity and explanation of a Spiritual Bouquet.

Saint Francis abandoned his wealth and began begging for food in addition to praying and fasting. He founded the Franciscan order, living in poverty and helping the sick and the poor.
October 2nd is the Feast of the Guardian Angels. Although most of us are familiar with the Guardian Angel Prayer, we may not call upon our own Guardian Angels (and those of our kids’) often enough!
