This book is a wonderful resource to help kids pray the Stations of the Cross. It’s packed with detailed illustrations of each scene, references from Scripture, further explanation of the scene and reflection on what the people were doing and experiencing, a prayer asking for the virtues we learn from the Station as well as the prayer by St. Alphonsus Liguori and excerpts from the 13th century Latin hymn to Our Lady describing her experience as she suffered alongside her Son. Further insight into the Scripture (including foreshadowing prophecy from the Old Testament) and additional detail about the Catholic Devotion of the Stations offer deeper participation and understanding of this journey with Jesus through His Passion.

packed with the Saints, Sacraments, Catechism, Prayers, and Catholic Crafts. I have also collected a plethora of awesome resources through the Catholic Mom Bundles for the last four years. I have SO much Catholic Clipart to make this Liturgical Living Book my own and I think it will be an incredible Family Heirloom that I’d like to replicate for each child as they start their own families.

With this Covid pandemic continuing on, a second Lent, Holy Week and Triduum at home is definitely a possibility. This is our monthly summary of crafts and family traditions related to the Monthly Devotion, Key Feast Days and the appropriate Season of the Liturgical Calendar. As our kids get older, our activities and commitment to Catholic crafts has changed and adjusted (at least for our tween, teen, and young adult kids)! While we haven’t exactly been adding a lot of Catholic crafts around here, we do enjoy pulling out the crafts and programs we’ve developed over the years, sometimes sharing them with younger families in our parish!
