We just returned from the New Evangelization Summit in Ottawa with Dr. Scott Hahn, Fr. Michael Gaitley, Dr. Ralph Martin, Fr. James Mallon, Patrick Coffin and many others. This wonderful event was organized by the Mission of the Redeemer, founded by Michael Dopp. While the event took place in Ottawa, Ontario, the talks were broadcasted to 20 Satellite sites across North America!
Last year, I made this special PrayerLoom Prayer Book for Bridget as she celebrated her First Holy Communion.

This Easter season of the Liturgical Calendar, every First Reading of Daily Mass comes from the Acts of the Apostles. Aren’t these readings awesome and inspiring?
The Acts …show us how empowered the early Church Christians were…filled with the Holy Spirit and convicted to speak and convert thousands at a time! Don’t you love how the Apostles are repeatedly thrown into prison, but they don’t let their surroundings dampen their enthusiasm! In fact…they just seem to use the opportunity to host a prayer meeting…singing, praying and praising until angels come and let them out through the locked doors to the dismay of the guards!
We’ve been building our collection of little Wooden Painted Saints…and we decided to make a Gallery of all the posts we’ve written about them…including a Tutorial with hints and tips to make them and ways to use them, play with them and stage and store them!
…another venue for the little Wooden Painted Saints: my old Architecture School models that have been kicking around from one basement to the next …for 20 years!
We’re in the midst of a couple family projects and I came across my Architecture School models from my thesis project completed this week in 1995!

The Little Wooden Painted Saints are so cute and we’re building quite the collection, outgrowing a couple storage boxes I’ve found for them.
