At our Parish, we have a travel-size Our Lady of Fatima handed from family to family each day of the month, encouraging families to pray the Rosary together. It’s a great opportunity to prompt family prayer and draw parishioners together!
This month, when it made its way to our house, I thought it would be great to create a Prayer Board that travels with the shrine so that families can add their own prayer intentions and join in praying for the intentions of the other families.
After I shared my idea and received permission from the Shrine Apostolate coordinator at our parish, I assembled this Prayer Board, added 2 prayer intentions to start off the list and sent the Shrine and Prayer Board off to the next family!
I look forward to seeing how many prayer intentions are added by the time we receive the shrine next month!
I will also update this post with more information about the Shrine Apostolate…when it returns to us in September, in case your Parish might like to start this awesome devotion!
