Feast Day Fun: St Veronica

St Veronica

February 5th is the Feast Day of St. Veronica!

St. Veronica is mentioned in the 6th Station of the Cross. She came to Jesus as He carried the cross and she wiped His Face. Miraculously an imprint of His Holy Face was left on the linen.

painting the stations

We just recently released a new craft kit: Stations of the Cross. We decided to do some watercolor painting on our snow day on Monday. I have discovered that printing these templates on cover stock at Staples make them perfect coloring pages even for watercolor paints! The lines are bold and easy to color inside of…and the ink doesn’t run! The cover stock paper isn’t exactly watercolor paper…so it’s pretty smooth, but it still works great with the watercolor paints!
