I’m so excited to launch my new Saint Scripts Series of Cathletics Craft Kits! I have been wanting to create a comprehensive Saints kit for a while…one that would inspire kids to research their favorite saints.
I actually found a set of templates I created back in 2007 for my daughter to fill in!
The biggest thing holding me back…was that I didn’t have my own set of saint images and I didn’t want to just cut and paste images from online or scan prayer cards…although that’s an option for people using these craft kits! Blank templates are included for complete customization…free reign to cut and paste classic images or draw your own!
I’m thrilled to announce that this project was another collaborative effort with my daughter Kelly! You might recognize her style from her awesome cartoon drawings from our book Hand in Hand with Jesus and the Sacrament Cathletics Craft Kits that followed. Maybe you’ve even seen Our Family in Cartoon or liked her Kelly Comics fanpage.
Kelly has been drawing our family, movie characters, her friends, political figures and celebrities…since she was 11. Check out the remarkable Up and Adam series of comics of her little baby brother Adam, published in Faith & Family Magazine!
It has been a pleasure to work with Kelly on these Saint Scripts Cathletics Craft Kits! I supplied her with classic images of the Saints and she sketched them in her Kelly Comics style. I then scanned her drawings and traced them in the computer, adding a few little details and color. I love how they turned out!
I planned on creating one Saint Scripts Cathletics Craft Kit with profiles and pics of 20 Saints…but we just couldn’t stop! We have 42 Saints so far!
To include everything I wanted to include, I compiled Saint Scripts TWO Cathletics Craft Kits. You can purchase them for $15 each or $25 for the two!
Each kit includes 20 Saints (+ Jesus or Mary) in a little recipe card format filled with Saint stats, a full color Kelly Comics pic and a brief biography.
Each kit ALSO includes 20(+1) half page black and white templates with the colorable pic, plus information format for kids to research and fill in the Saint details. Instructions and suggestions are included for different ways of using each Saint Scripts Cathletics Craft Kit at home or in the classroom!
These Saint Scripts Cathletics Craft Kits are available as comprehensive PDF craft kits you can print at home!

I love these Saint materials! I see that the 3rd set is done. Do you have a deal for purchasing all 3 sets? Thanks!
Can we photocopy this material for our students, like the lace up missal?
Yes, Ana! When you purchase the kit, you receive permission to copy the templates for a whole class of students or all the kids who live in your house!
I would certainly like to see the third version! I posted today my review here http://rosarymom.blogspot.com/2013/11/saints-script-2-review.html. Kelly is a talented artist and the fact that she is using her talents to share the light of Christ, is amazing! Well done!
Thanks for the review! I’m so glad it worked so well with your class! thanks for reviewing it and you will be among the first to know when the 3rd is released!
These look awesome! What age group would you recommend for this project?
I think the craft kit will be good for primary grades (matching game, simple facts, coloring), middle school (more in-depth research)…and even older kids (they can swap out the cartoon drawings in favor of their own drawings or classic prayer cards…but they can still refer to all the info) and families (Saint projects, Saint timeline, Saint day celebrations, fridge calendar) How’s that for versatile. I just showed them to a Mom friend…and she wants them for herself. =)
Thanks for asking!
Wow! Talent clearly runs in the family…great images of the saints! Beautiful work!!
