December 9th is the Feast Day of St Juan Diego. With the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday…we will be able to use some of the same decorations (and mexican food!) again…very soon!
Feast Day Fun: St Nicholas
December 6th is the Feast Day of St Nicholas!
St Nicholas is well known for his love for children and for using his wealth to help the poor. As a bishop, he established a poorhouse and a hospital.
Feast Day Fun: St Cecilia!
St Cecilia was born to a wealthy family. Her father promised her hand in marriage, but she had already made her vow to Christ. She convinced her new husband to let her keep her promise and he was converted to Christianity, along with his brother. All three were martyred for their Faith.
Feast Day of the Holy Relics
I just blogged about it as recently as last week: how I was blown away by the relics of Saints throughout my trip to Rome…but guess what today’s Feast Day is!
November 5th is the Feast of the Holy Relics.
the Saints are calling
It is true… I am a fan of the Saints. I have eagerly read about a number of them over the years and I just keep getting blown away by their lives, their Faith and their examples of Holiness. In my passion for researching the saints, I have in the last year released a number of craft kits featuring my 15 year old daughter’s drawings of over 44 Saints!
30 Ways to play with the Saints!
Last year, 15 year old Kelly sketched 42 Saints for me for our Saint Scripts Craft Kits.
You can make your flipbook of Saint postcards with the Saint Scripts Craft Kits!
In the spring, I formatted the collection of Saints into little templates for the Kelly Saints Stamps Craft Kit.
Here’s a quick index of the ways to use this one craft kit, Kelly Saints Stamps:
Convert classic games to be Catholic, using the templates to make Saint game pieces!
Pressman Toy Checkers Board Games
The Kelly Saints Stamps templates are formatted in different layouts, different sizes and 2 different backgrounds. They can but cut into individual square stamps or into perfect circles with various sized circle punches…like this one: Martha Stewart Crafts Punch, 1-Inch Circle
Once cut, the Kelly Saints Stamps can be used in so many ways!
- Cake Toppers
- Saint Day cards
- game pieces for Monopoly Board Game,
- Sorry! 2013 Edition Game or
- Candy Land – The Kingdom of Sweets Board Game
- …or really any classic board game (or homemade board game!) that uses a flat board and a path of spaces!
- Place Setting Cards at the dinner table
that's right...there are some Amazon Affiliate links in this post, in case you don't already have these classic family games. It's true that with your purchase through these links, I could puff up my $6.84 affiliate balance over at Amazon to 10 whole dollars and qualify for a gift card...holding my breath. =)
Feast Day Fun: St Jude
October 28 is the Feast Day of St Simon and St Jude, both Apostles of Jesus.
This time around, I’m going to focus on St Jude. Once I gather more information about St Simon, I will post a separate Feast Day Fun edition and probably focus on activities about the Apostles.
All Saints! Review: Holy Traders Activity Kit
I’ve been a fan of Holy Traders Saint Trading Cards for quite some time and I was excited to discover that there are now SIX sets of cards available!
I was also excited to discover that there is now a comprehensive Holy Traders Activity Kit available through Seton…and even more excited to have the opportunity to review it, receiving my own Holy Traders Activity Kit in exchange for my honest review.
Feast Day Fun: St John Paul II
Feast Day Crafts and Activities
Excerpts from A Treasure Chest of Traditions for Catholic Families , various posts at Equipping Catholic Families and our Saint Scripts Craft Kits (Series ONE and TWO).
Pope John Paul II was our Holy Father from 1978-2005. He wrote many important Catholic documents, traveled extensively throughout the world, welcomed millions of pilgrims and worked to reconcile denominations and restore democracy and religious freedom in communist countries.

With the Feast of All Saints coming up…I thought I’d offer a sitemap of Saints activities and craft kits, along with All Saints resources I have collected online.
