 Buon giorno!

I’m in Rome!

I can’t believe it! I’m here! We had a great trip through Philadelphia to Rome. We settled in at the Pallotine Sisters’ GuestHouse and gathered all together  for Mass celebrated by Fr Scott McCaig. We did a quick little orientation…walking the 7 minutes to St Peter’s…and grabbing lunch on the way! Mike and Sue pointed out some key places we’ll likely return to and both Mike and Fr Scott told us some great pope stories on location!

  1. Monica! How lovely! I feel a kinship with you as yesterday was my birthday. Yes, what a lucky lady to have it on Padre Pio’s feast day, he has been my anchor for so long! My dad’s mother from Italy went to hear him say Mass and hear her confessions! Also Larry and I stayed with the Pallotine sisters on our honeymoon 27 years ago September 19th…wow! It is a small Catholic world! We can picture you there and are spiritually going with you each step of the way. Looking forward to more stories!! Pray for us please aswe keep you in prayer too!

  2. Buongiorno! Happy Feast Day of Padre Pio. As he liked to say, remember to “pray, hope, and don’t worry.”
