Another craft with Happy Saints! I keep finding new ways to use them in activities for the kids.
What a vast collection over at Happy Saints!
Make sure to find the new Happy Saints Year of Faith Banner!
I can’t wait to print and display mine!
I purchased a box of poker chips. I like the chunky kind, as opposed to the thin plastic ones.
I picked up a package of white full-sheet multi-purpose labels and printed my own template of the Happy Saints.
I created my template, reducing the Happy Saints to 1.5″ circles.
I purchased the 1.5″ hole punch at Michael’s Craft Store on sale. I like how the clear window in the bottom enables me to get a nice clean, accurate circle, centered on the Happy Saint.
The back peels off the little circle and adheres neatly to the poker chips.
The Happy Saint tokens fit neatly in the little tray that came with the poker chips.
I think I have 66 with Saints on them!
I have been working on an awesome vintage game, converted to Catholic and will be showing my favorite use for these awesome Happy Saints Tokens soon.
For now, here’s a list of some ways I plan to use the Happy Saints Tokens:
=) Saint checker pieces
=) counters for counting practice (6 year old is in french immersion and re-learning the basics… in french!)
=) matching game with duplicate Happy Saint Tokens…my 2 year old can’t stop playing with these!
=) currency in Converted to Catholic Classic Board Games
=) magnets for fridge
=) Advent Calendar coins
=) Saint Bingo
=) Shuffleboard: Converted 2 Catholic
=) velcro Saint Tree
=) Saint banner
=) Saint Treasure Hunt
Make sure you’re subscribed to Equipping Catholic Families for upcoming Saint Craft Tutorials including my Secret Vintage Game, Converted 2 Catholic
(with printable!) to be revealed SOON!
hi the images are in the ebaooks and I would have to purchase all 8 or so ebooks just to get the images? Can these images be used in bottle cap with a 1″ diameter or is it only good for 1.5″? Thanks!
It’s true. The Happy Saints images are available in ebook a to purchase. http://Www.HappySaints.com is a different company than this site. I actually have a different craft kit with my style of Kelly Saint images and this kit has them formatted in different sizes including 1.5″. The kit includes multiple templates and multiple ways to use them: https://equippingcatholicfamilies.com/2014/04/kellysaintsstampscraftkit.html
Kelly Saints Stamps PDF is $15
Is it possible to share your template? I do not think it would be in violation since you are not selling it. This is a fabulous idea! Thanks!
Sorry…Victor at Happy Saints is so generous to let us use his images…but I have promised him that I would never share the templates I have made of his images. He has awesome e-books over at http://www.HappySaints.com and any support we can give helps him to continue his awesome Happy Saints projects!
Monica, I love these coins, and I’m using them to create our own chore chart/reward system/family store. I know you can’t share the templates from the Happy Saints stickers, but can you please explain how you created them? I am usually pretty tech savvy, but I can’t seem to figure it out. What program did you use? Thank you for your ministry!
Monica, these are amazing. I love Victor’s Happy Saint pictures they are perfect for kids. Actually I love them also. Once again you have the most creative ideas. The Holy Spirit is certainly working through you to help many families. Thanks for sharing at my Our Favorite Things Link Party. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving.
I also wanted to add that you can use the Xyron sticker maker and print and cut the saints from paper and then run them through the sticker maker. I only say this because I already have a sticker maker. I can’t wait to try this!
Hi, I can’t seem to find the poker chips anywhere. Can you please tell me which store you purchased them from? Thanks!
What a great idea. Children will love learning about the saints in this tangible way. God Bless Victor Teh for his generous heart! And for you too Monica, for sharing your talents with us!
Hi Ladies 🙂
Thanks Lisa, for your comment as well!
Yes, Xhonane. Victor doesn’t prevent people from downloading the saint pictures one at a time. The images are also for sale in ebooks, at better resolution, but for my purposes these have been fine. My home printer…is my biggest factor. (Sometimes I have had them printed at Staples and they look better.)I just always make sure that I mention his site and I forward the link and he usually even puts a link to my craft on his facebook and website! I have made at least one other craft with his drawings. Thanks for commenting, Xhonane!
Wonderful tutorial, thanks and my kids would love this. WordPress Template Tutorial
Monica, did you copy the saints one by one from his site?
