Make a habit of saying a special prayer in the car before you begin driving (especially on long driving trips). Conclude the prayer with a special request for St. Christopher’s protection.
St Christopher
Pray for us!

This practice calls to mind the habit of blessing ourselves when we pass a Catholic Church. What a great habit to instill in our kids!
Did your parents teach you to do this? Do you do this with your kids?
Do you have a St Christopher Visor Clip in your car? It’s a great reminder to pray…
It’s time for us to get a new one because our St Christopher medal has lost its’ grip on our visor and periodically falls on my head. Great reminder to pray…but I don’t want to lose St Christopher in our van.

Great reminder as we leave for vacation tomorrow morning! One of boys is named Blaise Christopher, so he will especially love to learn more about St. Christopher. God bless.
