Pray for us!
There is a beautiful Slovak Catholic Cathedral about 15 minutes away from our house. It can be seen from the highway we inevitably take on most of our longer trips. Bill has made a habit of saying a prayer with the family every time we pass the Cathedral. It’s a great reminder to pray.
This practice calls to mind the habit of blessing ourselves when we pass a Catholic Church. What a great habit to instill in our kids!
Did your parents teach you to do this? Do you do this with your kids?
It’s time for us to get a new one because our St Christopher medal has lost its’ grip on our visor and periodically falls on my head. Great reminder to pray…but I don’t want to lose St Christopher in our van.
